A look ahead at some upcoming events in 2012

[p]We’re done with 4 rounds already, so we almost made it through 50% of day 1. So far, YCS Leipzig did deliver on all levels, however, we thought it was time to take a step back and take a look into our crystal ball. [p]Let’s start with what you already know. The next stops of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series have already been announced and I would like to bring 2 of them to your attention:

[b]YCS #100 – Long Beach, California[/b]

Arguably the hottest event of the year will be the YCS in Long Beach, where we’ll celebrate 100 successful tournaments in a show that is guaranteed to blow your mind! Check out the FAQ of the event to learn everything about the special prizes that will only be given away at this very special tournament.

[b]YCS Toulouse[/b]
[/p][p]
European Duelists that can’t make the trip to Long Beach still have plenty of reasons to rejoice! YCS Toulouse has already been announced and there’s also a FAQ available on the official website to answer all your questions.

This is the second time the Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series comes to France and we’re excited to see many Duelists that will try to get their hands on some cool prizes and eternal fame!

[b]World Championship Qualifier: European Championship[/b]
[/p][p]
In summer, we’ll host yet another European Championship to give Europe’s finest Duelists the chance to qualifiy for the most prestigious event of the year, the World Championship. It was already announced that the event will take place in Tokyo, Japan, so make sure you bring your A Game as a trip to the country of the rising sun is something you’ll remember for the rest of your life!

On top of that, for the first time ever, we’ll also have a Dragon Duel World Championship with players age 13 from all around the world fighting for glory! This is our way of giving something back to the youngest supporters we have and we hope that many will show up at the European Championship to get their shot at a free trip to Japan!

If you thought the second half of the year could do nothing but disappoint compared to the first half, you’re in for a surprise. Today, we can first announce that there will be 2 additional European Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series in the second half of 2012!

2012 is by far the most exciting year in Yu-Gi-Oh! history! European Duelists have never had more chances to take a shot at glory, so what are you waiting for?!
