Adam Belohradsky flew all the way from the United States to compete at YCS Prague. He’s dad is originally from the from Czech Republic so he got family ties here and he built the Deck together with two friends for the UDS Finals last weekend. Hi Adam, tell us something about your Deck and card choices?

I’m running Draco-Pals, but a different build than the rest of the field. We are relying on three Vector Pendulum, the Dracoverlord and three copies of Master Pendulum, the Dracoslayer. The focus of the Deck is to get as much cards as fast as possible to the Extra Deck. We usually go into Dinoster Power, the Mighty Dracoslayer and Ignister Prominence, the Blasting Dracoslayer, not losing any cards. Because when you synchro the cards are put to the Extra Deck whereas when you overlay they are lost. The field we end with a lot is Ignister Prominence, the Blasting Dracoslayer,Number 106: Giant Hand and Divine Dragon Knight Felgrand and search Archfiend Eccentrick in the end phase to pop a possible Solemn Strike next turn. If we go first it’s hard to lose, because the field is really hard to break.

What are your expectations for this event?
I expected to win with this. I think a month from now people will be playing this Deck card by card. There will be no more experiments with Instant Fusion and such, because it only messes up the combo.

Do have any Tech cards?
Treacherous Trap Hole is a myth, so we don’t go into Traptrix Rafflesia too often.

Tell us about your Match-Ups?
The Kozmo Match-Up is a lot like the PePe Match-Up. You end with the same field more or less. My monsters are pretty big so Kozmo is having a hard time getting any attacks through. If you go first in the mirror it’s almost impossible to lose. The Monarch Match-Up is the rughest due to Domain. There are four outs to Domain in our Deck which more than most of the other Decks play. I can easily go into Abyss Dweller to stop their Graveyard effects and have enough to kill them next turn.

Any last words?
Shoutouts to Billy Brake and Denny Vu who helped me build the Deck.
