Hi Luca, tell us why you brought this Deck to YCS Bochum?
Nekroz is the best deck this format. The deck runs tons of tutor cards making it way more consistent than any other deck right now. Most of the anti-meta decks tend to brick every now and then. They don’t have the consistency to win a long tournament like this.
What are your expectations for this event?
After being very at the last big events I didn’t expect to do that good to be honest. I glad I got here, but I really didn’t expect it. I hope I will be playing my friend Zoppo in the finals. He’s a great player and I’m pretty sure it is going to be a great game.
Do have any Tech cards?
The Main Deck is pretty standard. I play one [nz dance] to force my key plays through. I also decided on running two copies of [nz trish]. Should my opponent play [veiler] on my [nz trish] I can chain my second copy and negate it. It worked pretty well today. I’m also relying on hand traps a lot. I have 2 [maxx] and 2 [veiler] in the Main Deck.
Tell us about your Match-Ups?
I don’t have particular bad Match-Up. The deck rather loses to certain floodgate cards like [mistake]. I like to play the mirror match and think, that I have the advantage over my opponents due to my experience as a player.
Any final words?
I want to say thank you to my friends and my girlfriend for the support.
