Duelist Profile: Hou Teng “Andy” Mok
For our second Duelist Profile we found “Andy” Mok from Macau. He’s on an internship in Germany and found his way here to Dublin. Check out his story!

What Deck did play today?
I picked Nekroz. Since I’m from the OCG I felt very confident with the deck. The cards were released in OCG much earlier so I had more time to get familiar with the cards. I will run the deck tomorrow as well. I hope for Tops and want to make it to the World Championship. This would be a dream come true.
Are there any differences between Asia and Europe?
In Asia the game is much faster than here in Europe. Players want to finish the game as quick as possible since there are so many power cards in the game right now. The faster you win the less chance the opponent has to draw an out.
Did you play iat Nationals?
I couldn’t play Nationals since I’m here in Europe for an internship. I will stay here a few months and return in autumn. The system is a lot different is Asia as well. We do have Asian Championships were only the National Champions are allowed to participate. In general the events are also a lot smaller than here in Europe. So I’m kind of excited to play in such a big event for the first time!
How do you feel about Last Chance Qualifiers?
I feel like they are a great addition to the Public Events especially for players who didn’t have a chance to play Nationals.
Any last words?
I want to give shoutouts to my bro Jeffrey in Hong Kong!
