The YCS Trials

[nbsp]

The registration for the Public Events was very busy all day. Therefore, it came as no surprise that we had to split the YCS Trials into 2 tournaments with 86 players each. All of them are trying their luck to win a free trip to the next [ycs]. Here’s how it works: All enrolled Duelists have to prove theirselves in 7 rounds of Swiss. The player who comes out on top wins the free trip to the next YCS! Yesterday, we already interviewed Sahar Cohen who won a free trip from Israel!

Dragon Duel Championship

[nbsp]

The Dragon Duel Championship is the chance for our rising stars to shine! All Duelists aged 13 and younger are allowed to participate and they have a shot at quite some cool prizes: The winner walks away with a trophy, booster packs and some additional Yu-Gi-Oh! equipment!

This tournament is also played according to the Swiss System, so the 57 young Duelists had 6 rounds to show their skills and see who comes out first.

Attack of the Giant Card!

[nbsp]

Asked about their favorite Public Event, many players replied that they loved the “Attack of the Giant Card” tournaments. This is your chance to claim a oversized [fsynch] among some other popular cards for yourself and decorate your living room with it (you might have to talk your parents into this).

We’ll be holding 4 of those tournaments this weekend and the first one is already underway. Expect some cheers from the crowd when the first winner gets to pick his Giant Card!
