15.04.2012 | 9:14 |

I’ve finally found the time to ask a few Quick Questions! This edition is a true classic as we wanted to know how Duelists got here and who they travelled with.

Here we have Guillaume Marthe, Xavier Marion, Marion Bauza and Alexandre Marthe

Can you tell us how you got here?

Guillaume: Three of us (Guillaume, Marion and Alexandre) drove here from Narbonne, which is an hour away by car and Xavier came from Carcassone, which is something like 45 minutes away.

And did you have a good time so far?

Xavier: Yes, absoluletly!

What did you like the most about the event so far?

Alexandre: I won a few games when it didn’t really like look I could turn them around!

Can you tell us how you got here?

Luigi: We’re both living close to Florence, took a plane and flew over. It took us a little less than 2 hours and was a pleasant enough flight.

And who are you here with?

Mirko: We came here with another friend (who you can also see on the picture above) who is also participating in the Main Event.

What did you like the most about the YCS this weekend so far?

Luigi: I’m very excited to have a chance to see some of the most gifted European players live in action. It’s a great experience and we enjoyed our time in France a lot!

Can you tell us how you got here?

Valerio: Valerio and Christian came here by plane from Milan, while Paolo drove all the way from Novara (between Turin and Milan).

What’s been your personal highlight this weekend so far?

Christian: I was 4 – 0 at one point! (I’m now on 4 – 2…)

Paolo: In the first match, I had to play against Crystal Beasts! That was certainly unexpected and it was quite a fun game!

Valerio: It’s not really been my day so far, it’s hard to pick a favorite moment for me.

Are you looking forward to the European Championship in Milan later this year?

Valerio: Yes, certainly! We’re all looking forward to it and you’ll definitely see us there!

Marko Brockmann and Dimitri Lokk are some of the German players in attendance today!

Can you tell us how you got here?

Marko: We traveled to Frankfurt by train, changed it for a plane and flew over. It wasn’t so bad, safe for some ear pains that followed.

And who are you here with?

Dimitri: We came with some of the other German players like Michel Grüner, Merlin Schumacher, Stefan Faust and the rest of the guys from Frankfurt. Matthias Linke and Frank Stephan stayed at home, so I want to send some greetings his way!

Marko: I wanted to come here with my friends from the Outpost Cologne, however, no one felt like making the trip. So I want to greet them as well as all the people rooting for me!

What’s been your favorite moment this weekend?

Marko: I beat Luke Lennard 2 – 0!

Dimitri: I was about to play Exodia, but switched the Deck for a Chaos Lightsworn Deck. I eventually dropped after going 1 – 3.

Alright, that’s it for the moment. Be sure to check back later when we ask some more quick questions for you!
