Ioannis says that Geargia will win because it is one of the best control Decks that has a great capability to do a lot of damage and win the game in one turn if not control it out of the opponent’s reach. Yannis thinks that something with Traptrix in will win as it’s a stronger control Deck than the other options.

Lightsworn will have to take it. So many people will be playing it and it will have the edge of the competition. It’s a massively powerful Deck – you can go from having five cards in hand and nothing on the field and win even if your opponent has a really well established field.

I think HAT will win. There isn’t a ‘best Deck’ in this format as a lot of Decks are good. Geargia have a good matchup against HAT but not so much against everything else. In HAT you can use the Hand monsters which are really strong and the Artifacts work really well with only two cards so it’s good to be able to use them all in the same Deck with some good synergy. Traptrix work really well with them too.

It seems like there’s a real mix of opinions this weekend with a huge variety of Decks in the fray. With no clear favourite there will be some really exciting side-decking going on as Duelists attempt to counter the Decks that have strong matchups against them. Make sure you’re keeping up with the coverage this weekend to see who has planned ahead well enough to be successful!
