QQ stands for Quick Questions! With only a few more hours separating us from the start of the European Championship 2013, we tried to learn a little about the Decks some of the players would be playing this weekend.
Igor: I’ll be running Spellbooks. I think it’s a good choice as it tends to win the first Duel more often than not!

Claudio: Dragon Rulers – with 3 [ladd] and 2 [eclipse] and 3 [chalice]. It’s the best Deck according to my test results and if you go first, there’s very little they can do to stop you.

Alessio: Spellbooks! I think this is the best Deck in the format. I added 2 [kycoo] in the Main Deck to improve my chances against other Spellbook Decks as well as the Dragon Rulers.

Davide: Wind-Up – If I can constantly bring out [16] on my first turn, I can go far!

Dominic: Skill Drain Heroes – it’s a very affordable Anti Meta Deck and I enjoy playing it. I ran the Deck a couple times before and did rather well with it, so I thought ‘why not give it a shot at the European Championship?!'

Manjot: Evilswarm – I simply really like the Deck!

Dai Wei: Dragon Rulers – I enjoy swarming the field with them and leaving my opponents with few outs!
One of Austria's finest: Claudio Kirchmair together with Besnik Kajtazi from Germany!
Besnik: We’re both running Dragon Rulers; I think it’s simply the strongest Deck in the format.

Claudio: It’s the Deck providing you with the most options – you can bring out Synchro Monsters, Xyz Monsters and Special Summon a bunch of monsters; there’s nothing left to be desired!
[nbsp]
It certainly seems like you need to have both the Dragon Rulers as well as the Spellbook Monsters on your list of what to expect this weekend. Will some of the other established archetypes make a comeback? Or will we see some of the “oldschool” Decks returning to the top tables? Just stay tuned as we’ll have all the answers in our fully fleshed out coverage this weekend!
