QQ: Which deck will win this weekend?

17.04.2011 | 11:46 |

Prior to the start of the 9th round, we asked some players which Deck they expected to win today in another round of Quick Questions. Let’s see what they had to say!

Where are you from?

I’m from one of the smaller cities near Paris.

Which Deck do you expect to win this weekend?

I think Six Samurai’s will win as they’re extremely powerful. They have plenty of cards to gain an early lead and Legendary Six Samurai - Shi En makes sure they can carry the advantage all the way through the end of the Duel.
Additionally, it’s good against Gravekeeper’s – they don’t run too many monsters, so they don’t lose instantly to Royal Tribute.

Which country will take home the title?

I hope a French player will win, but I’m also a big fan of Claudio Kirchmair (from Austria).

What do you think, which Deck will win the tournament?

I’m putting my money on Six Samurai’s and Gravekeeper’s. Gravekeeper’s are extremely consistent and they also got Royal Tribute, which can knock out Decks all on its own. Six Samurai’s have raw power, a lot of versatile search effects as well as Legendary Six Samurai - Shi En and Musakani Magatama to negate opposing cards and effects. That’s what puts them over the top.

Which country deserved the title the most?

I think that’s hard to say, but I certainly wouldn’t mind if one of my fellow countrymen would take home the victory!

Here comes Switzerland!

Tell us where you’re from?

We’re all from Switzerland!

What do you think will win this weekend?

Most of the Swiss players agreed that Royal Tribute will take home the win (that’s a nice way of saying: “We guess Gravekeeper’s will pull it off!”), although they were secretly rooting for Worms.

Which country would you like to see winning?

They’re hopeful that a Swiss player will be able to win the tournament; their friend Kevin is currently sitting on a 7 – 1 record, so it’s looking pretty good for him.

We’re both from Paris, France.

Which Deck is most likely to win the tournament?

Both players quickly agreed that Gravekeeper’s are most likely to win the tournament.

So there you have it! Gravekeeper’s really seem to be on the mind of most Duelists today, followed up by the Six Samurai’s.
