Quick Question: How did you qualify for the WCQ: European Championship 2017?

In order to take part in the WCQ: European Championship 2017 players needed to earn an invite. Qualifications tournaments were held throughout the whole season with Nationals being the highlight. We asked a few players here in Utrecht how they qualified for the Main Event.
Christian: I’m originally from the States but live in Germany right now. My job brought me here. I got 5th place at a Regional with a True Draco Demise back then. I’m running a similar build for this event.
Marius: I qualified at my National Championships in Lithuania. I played Zoodiac back then. This time I’m running a chain burn deck. We are mainly here for the fun.
Ash: I tried to win a LCQ yesterday, but unfortunately I couldn’t. So I’m mainly here for the Public Events. I will focus on winning as much prices as possible. My main goal is to take home a giant card either today or tomorrow.
Tony: I qualified at the French WCQ and placed 6th. I ran a Zoodiac deck back then with the Lunalight combo. Now I added Kaiju to solve big problems. Unfortunately, I didn’t have too much time to figure out something different.
Umut: Oh, that was long ago. I finished Top 8 at YCS Rimini 2016. I was playing Domain Monarch back than running [scolding] to completely shut down my opponents plays. After all, I lost to Burning Abyss in tops. The story around the deck is quite funny: we wanted to go out the day before the event but I didn’t have a clue on what to play. So I went to my room and built the deck within an hour.
