Quick Question: What was your most favorite event of 2017?

25.11.2017 | 17:06 |

YCS Prague Vol. 2 is the last event of 2017. The entire year was filled with big events, cool Duels and great experiences. The new qualification system for Worlds did make the WCQ in Utrecht a lot more thrilling. YCS London was part of MCM Comic Con and YCS Rimini is still celebrated for its great beach. Which one was your favorite event of 2017?

Daniel

What was your most favorite event of 2017?
Daniel: It was YCS Rimini! I was judging the event. The weather, the beach everything was great, and I stayed in Amsterdam with friends before. It was a great social event and I got to meet people from all over the place. Overall, it was my first time in Italy and I enjoyed it a lot.

JY Sharif

What was your most favorite event of 2017?
JY Sharif: Worlds – I got to go Asia for the first and got to see all the players from around the world and do a lot of stuff. It was an amazing experience. In the race for Worlds I’m currently in the lead and try my best to get there again and not finish last place.

Kristoffer

What was your most favorite event of 2017?
Kristoffer: Euros – It was a good experience, because I finishes Top 8 and had a great time in Utrecht with my friends. My dream is still to go to Worlds one time

Ryan

What was your most favorite event of 2017?
Ryan: YCS London, it was paired with the MCM Comic Con. I was doing well running Trickstars. The Deck wasn’t as popular as it is now. Meeting the voice actors was a personal highlight of mine. Dan Greene who is voicing Yugi is such a kind person. I hope to meet him in real life other than the Con, where you have to stand in line for two hours to talk to him for 20 seconds.

Aaron

What was your most favorite event of 2017?
Aaron: YCS Pittsburgh – it was the 1st YCS I won. The format was Zoo Draco, which I enjoyed a lot. I feel like Deck building did make a difference back then and it favored the better player. In the current formant, there is more luck involved, because you need two cards to get your combos going.

Ario

What was your most favorite event of 2017?
Ario: That was Utrecht, most definitely! It was one of my most favorite formats of all time. The Level of players was very high and I was on the bubble in Round 11. It was my biggest success so far. Prague is also always great and easy to get to. I don’t know if I will be able to join all the events next year. There is too much going on in my life at the moment.
