Quick Questions: Which card would you like to see come off the list?

27.10.2019 | 12:00 |

The Forbidden and Limited List has big impact on the development of the current metagame. The list is supposed to balance the game and keep Decks that are too powerful in check. The latest changes were not too impactful, but they helped to shift the metagame and create a wide-open field. However, some cards have been on the list for a while now and I’m pretty sure that you would like to see some of them come off the list some time. Let’s get a few opinions!

Ryan

Which card would like to see come off the list?
Ryan: I would like to see Light Stage back to three. I would like to play Trickstars again. The Deck matched my playstyle the best. You set up for one turn the way you set up your next turn. You try to stay alive for opponents turn and set up for your next. That suits me the most.

Which card would like to see come off the list?
Aaron: True King – the Disaster! I want to play Dinosaurs again. It was one of my most favorite Decks. When I started playing competitive the card was already banned, so I never had the pleasure to play the Deck at a YCS Level and I would love to have that for once.

Which card would like to see come off the list?
Aaron: If would have asked me last list, I would have said Kagari. Now I would say Mermaid, or at least errata it, so you cannot bring out Knightmare monsters with it. I like to play combo Decks. The biggest thread to combo is Nibiru and Knightmare Iblee locks them out of special summing monsters and break your board with one card.

Which card would like to see come off the list?
Jacob: I want to see Book of Moon go to three. It is a card that doesn’t seem like it needs to be at one. I don’t think it will change a lot and it would be nice to have it back again.

James: Snow! I like to play an awful lot of banishing Deck with Necroface and I can’t! Now I have to play Soul Release which is awful substitute for Snow. The card is so clean and I can use it twice in the same turn. It so good!
