Walker-Mason went first and he revealed Pittau was he was playing right away by activating [gates]. He Set a Spell or Trap and Special Summoned [maldust]!

The British player drew 2 cards with [reckless]. He drew another two with [allure], and then banished [beiige]. [dwl] was activated on [potom], which got Chained. [maldust] attacked directly for 2500 damage, Walker-Mason Set a Spell or Trap and he passed.

Pittau mistook [storm] for an invitation to flip all his cards face-up! He Chained [jar of greed], [secret barrel], [just desserts], [cease] and [ojama trio]! After all of these effects resolved, Walker-Mason was left with a little less than 3000 Life Poins!

[broww] came down next. Walker-Mason Set a Spell or Trap and then he activated [dragged]. [sillva], which was discarded, couldn’t be [ss]ed as Walker-Mason already controlled 5 monsters (3 of them were Ojama Tokens). He returned [broww] to his hand to [ss] [grapha] back to the field and he dealt another 2500 damage with [maldust] ([grapha] couldn’t attack thanks to the effect of the Malefic Monster)! Pittau was left with 3000 Life Points.

Walker-Mason activated [dwd] and he discarded [grapha]. Pittau Chained [legacy] and followed it up with [chain strike]. That left Walker-Mason with 1100 Life Points! The effect of [gates] was next; Walker-Mason discarded [snoww] to find another copy of the Field Spell and he attacked with [maldust] before passing his turn.

Pittau used [duality] to find a way to deal the missing damage, however, it wasn’t meant to be. He went for his Side Deck, looking for cards that would work well against Walker-Mason’s Dark World army.

Pittau played [1dop] and he drew a card. He passed without performing any more actions.

Walker-Mason Set 2 Spells or Traps and he Summoned [broww]. He then activated [dwd]. Pittau picked [grapha] which was sent to Walker-Mason’s Graveyard, while Walker-Mason opted to get rid of 1 copy of [1dop]. [grapha] returned to the field, Walker-Mason Set another Spell or Trap and he passed.

[mind crush], declaring [just desserts], got rid of yet another card on Pittau’s hand. The Italian Duelist decided that he now had to risk it and he Set 5 Spells or Traps. Walker-Mason flipped 2 [mst][s] – a huge blow for Pittau!

Pittau didn’t put up much of a defense and Walker-Mason was free to attack with [grapha]. Play was back to Pittau.

He activated [jar of greed], trying to find an answer, however, Walker-Mason Chained [decree]! Pittau checked his remaining face-down cards, but he couldn’t find a way to get rid of this powerful answer to his deck. He extended his hand and congratulated Walker-Mason on his win!

Asked about the deciding factor in the game, both players agreed that Walker-Mason was lucky enough to draw into a couple of cards that he sided in. These gave him the edge and allowed him to take the Duel in a hurry with 25 minutes remaining on the clock!
