Here are the Giant Card Winners of Sunday! All of them played at the Main Event, but ran out of luck. They signed up for Public Events and made up for it by winning a Giant Card. Congratulations to all of them. Enjoy your new card!
Name: Le Lin Age: 21 Country: UK, London Why did you enter the Giant Attack of the Giant Card? I entered on purpose. I didn’t feel very confident with the Deck I was playing in the Main Event. So, I decided to even out odds. On the one hand it is more fun to play with Structure Decks, on the other hand it is also more sacky. How do you feel about the Giant Card events? It gets me pretty hyped. Any last words? Shoutouts to the Brotherhood, my family and my friends who invited me to Bochum.
Name: Adrian Dursun Age: 21 Country: Germany, Frankfurt What Deck did play today? I’m still playing the same Deck as yesterday: True Draco Demise. It How do you feel about the Giant Card events? I feel they are a fantastic addition to the YCS tournament structure. It is the only chance to win a cool prize like this. Any last words? Shoutouts to my Team United Gosus, my brother David, Marten, Tobias, Amel, Sanin, und Max.
Name: Miguel Adolfo Torrez Daura Age: 20 Country: El Salvador What Deck did play today? 60 cards Lighsworn Zombie Plant Dino – I basically played the same Deck in the Main Event. It is the most entertaining Deck to play. The Main Event didn’t go all too well for me. In the Giant Card Event I got luckier. How do you feel about the Giant Card events? The event itself is the biggest event in Europe ever. It’s great to be part of this. When I came here I wanted to take something back home. I really enjoyed the finals. We had great fun. Any last words? Shoutouts to the other finalist Matthias. He managed to get into the finals with Zefra. What a great effort! I really enjoyed the last match, but unfortunately there is only one card for the winner. Shoutouts to my family and friends in El Salvador.
Name: Vincenzo Matteo Duraccio Age: 18 Country: Italy, Napoli What Deck did play today? Pendulum Magician – it’s the most consistent Deck of the format and it is able to do well for a large event like this. How do you feel about the Giant Card events? They are nice events with good prize support. Any last words? Shoutout to Onofrio Allocca, Giampiero Giacomini, Hector Hettorini and Igor Miti.
Name: Sebastian Blum Age: 22 Country: Germany, Neunkirchen What Deck did play today? Pendulum FTK, the first three Rounds went very well, but after that I started losing the dice roll. I was 3:3 and decided to drop out of the Main Event. Basically, I played the same Deck, but I changed the way I ran the Deck. Most of the games turned out to become grind games where the Deck really shines. How do you feel about the Giant Card events? I feel like it is something new, a nice trophy for collectors to put on the wall. Any last words? Shoutouts to all of my friends at my locals.
Name: David Langhorst Age: 17 Country: Germany, Hannover What Deck did play today? Pendulum Magician – I changed my Deck from the FTK version to a list running Magical Abductor. The list is very good. How do you feel about the Giant Card events? I like the format and I like the Giant Cards in general. Any last words? Shoutouts to all the guys from Hannover, Dominik, Pierre, Kian, Han and Dex.
