Gadalla kicked things off and Set a card to each zone.
[/p][p]
[i pede] was added to Grünewald’s hand courtesy of [duality]. He [ns]ed it and used its effect to equip it with [i hornet], however, [bom] was chained and flipped it face-down. Grünewald Set 2 Spells or Traps and passed for his turn.
[/p][p]
Gadalla simply passed for his turn.
[/p][p]
Grünewald [fs]ed [i pede], but [veiler] stripped it off its effect. [i hornet] was [ns]ed next, equipped itself with the other copy from Grünewald’s Graveyard, then it destroyed the Set [i hornet] on Gadalla’s side of the field. Attacks followed, Grünewald Set a Spell or Trap and that concluded the turn.
[/p][p]
Now it was up to Gadalla to [ns] [i hornet]. He brought back [i hornet], then destroyed the opposing [i pede] with its effect, an attack into [i hornet] followed and that was that.
[/p][p]
Grünewald [ns]ed [sangan] and attacked directly. That worked, so he followed it up with [coth] to bring back [i pede]. It attacked successfully as well and in [mp] 2, he used [i hornet]'[s] effect on [sangan] so he could search his Deck for 2 cards. [veiler] and [i fly] were added to his hand.

[i pede] was Gadalla’s attempt to come back in this game, but [warning] negated its summon. [dad] came down and destroyed Grünewald’s lonely [i pede]. A direct attack with [dad] later, Grünewald was left with 3200 Life Points.
[/p][p]
[i fly] was [ns]ed and Grünewald equipped it with [i hornet]. [maxx] was discarded when [i hornet]'[s] effect was activated, which got Gadalla a new card and Grünewald [i pede] from his Deck. He checked Gadalla’s Life Points (3300) and activated [foolish], sending [i mantis] to his Graveyard. He opted to activate the effect of [i pede], but [veiler] (which Gadalla drew with [maxx] in an instant before!) bought Gadalla another turn! After both attacks went through, Gadalla was sitting on 700 Life Poins. Grünewald Set a Spell or Trap and ended.
[/p][p]
Gadalla drew into his third card and he banished [veiler] and [dad] to bring out [bls]. He attacked [i fly], but [fiendish] stopped the [bls] dead in its tracks! [hole] wiped the field, he Set a monster and passed.
[/p][p]
Grünewald activated [allure], looking for a way to end the game. He found it when he flashed [reborn], so Gadalla went for his Side Deck.

[/p][p]
Gadalla [ns]ed [i pede] and he attacked with [rai oh] over [i pede]. An attack with his own [i pede] followed.
[/p][p]
Grünewald [ns]ed [i hornet]. Another [veiler]. [coth] followed, resurrecting [i pede]. It equipped itself with [i hornet] in Grünewald’s Graveyard, which allowed him to get rid of [rai oh]. He searched for [i fly], used both of his Monsters to Xyz Summon [17], he detached one of the materials and attacked over his opponent’s [i pede]. That concluded the turn.

He used its effect to bring back [i hornet] once more and used its own effect to destroy [coth]. He searched his Deck for another [i fly], then used both of his Monsters to [ss] [17], [reborn] followed on [i fly], he brought back [i hornet], equipped [i fly] with [i mantis] from his hand, destroyed it with the effect of [i hornet] and this lead to the following and very impressive field:
