Age: 17

Hometown: Venice

Occupation: Pupil

What did you play this weekend and why?

I chose Inzektors. I think the Deck is one of the fastest in the format and it has strong match-up against a vast majority of the opposing Decks. I think the only Deck that gives me troubles is Dino Rabbit, but I added some cards to my build to improve the match-up.

What’s been your biggest accomplishment so far?

I made Top 64 in the first YCS in Bochum, barely missing the tops. In Paris, I made it to the Top 32, but lost there. I also made the Top 16 to the last Italian Nationals.

What card from GAOV are you most looking forward to?

I’m afraid I didn’t check out the new cards just yet.

Will you attend the WCQ: EC in Milan?

Yes, definitely!

What did you play this weekend and why?

Chaos Dragons – it can throw big monsters on the field fast, which gives Dino Rabbit and Wind-Up Decks a headache! Inzektors are a lot tougher, but that’s where my Side Deck comes in!

What’s been your biggest accomplishment so far?

Austrian National Champion 2010, Top 8 YCS Paris, Top 32 YCS Bochum, Top 32 WCQ: EC Madrid

What card from GAOV are you most looking forward to?

Cardcar D!

Will you attend the WCQ: EC in Milan?

Most likely. Or no, make that most definitely!

Age: 19

Hometown: Huddersfield, UK

Occupation: Professional Poker Player

What did you play this weekend and why?

Wind-Ups – I think it’s the best Deck the format has to offer. It has several combos that can leave your opponent with no chance to get back into the game. It’s a little like Six Samurai and I loved them!

What’s been your biggest accomplishment so far?

UK National Champion, I was 1st after the Swiss rounds in Long Beach (Top 32), Top 16 YCS Brighton and I won Battle of the Kingdoms

What card from GAOV are you most looking forward to?

I can’t quite decide, but I heard Cardcar D is really good.

Will you attend the WCQ: EC in Milan?

Yes, absolutely!

What did you play this weekend and why?

Wind-Up – I already played it at the YCS Leipzig and did well there, so I figured I should give it another try.

What’s been your biggest accomplishment so far?

Top 32 YCS Leipzig!

What card from GAOV are you most looking forward to?

I only know the Hieroglyph Dragons and Cardcar D. I like the new Deck as well as the new powerful card that fits in many Decks!

Will you attend the WCQ: EC in Milan?

I’m not sure yet. It depends on my other appointments, but I hope I can go.

Dino Rabbit – I consider it to be the best Deck as it can answer every other card in the Deck! It’s extremely strong whenever you can start the game!

What’s been your biggest accomplishment so far?

I made Top 32 in Brighton and also reached day 2 in Leipzig!

What card from GAOV are you most looking forward to?

I only checked out a few cards, but Cardcar D seems like the standout card in the set, so I’ll go with that!

Age: 20

Hometown: Asse, Belgium

Occupation: Student

What did you play this weekend and why?

Inzektors – I’ve been playing the Deck since their release, I’ve constantly adjusted it and I feel extremely confident with it. I started with 2 Inzektor Sword - Zektkaliber and 2 Inzektor Hopper and when I saw the Deck that Ioannis Mourelatos piloted to the Top 8 in Leipzig, I changed my Deck slightly and ever since, I’ve always been extremely successful!

What’s been your biggest accomplishment so far?

I made day 2 at the European Championship!

What card from GAOV are you most looking forward to?

The new Inzektor support!

Will you attend the WCQ: EC in Milan?

It depends if I can make room for it, but I’ll probably go!

I won a WCQ Regional in Montpellier before!

What card from GAOV are you most looking forward to?

Cardcar D!
