Top Tables Round 6
Round 6 is underway and I took a look at the first 36 tables where players with 4 wins or even more impressive records were seated. I took plenty of pictures and spotted quite a few creative Decks…

There seemed to be a number of Evilswarm Decks at the top tables, with two of them having to go up against each other on table 2 already. Some Dragon Rulers followed, but I didn’t have to look for much longer to spot more less popular archetypes.

I understand that some of you did expect Infernities at the top tables, but what about… “Bujin”-Monsters? Martin Rodin was on quite a run today, currently playing on table 9 with his take on the archetype.

Right next to this epic Duel, I spotted Filippo Ivo Meulli, yet another Evilswarm player.

Plenty of the veterans could still be found at the top tables, among them Sebastien Gonzalez, Luigi Alici or Federico Zoppini, with many of them relying on Dragon Rulers. Kevin Langenberg on table 15 started an entirely different trend, however…

Just a few tables farther down, at table 18, Paolo Coppola piloted a similar build. Here’s an impression from his Duel.

I did mention that Kevin Langenberg was the first of many, didn’t I?

Alright, enough Fire Fist for the day. Next, I stopped at table 25 where Dave Grabert had to go up against Esteban Almeida De La Torre…

I moved a little bit further down and had to stop when I saw Marc Aimonino again who you might remember from our Bad Beat Stories.

[nbsp]
Marc’s opponent Fabrizio Fischetto was yet another Fire Fist player, so it seems like the archetype is having a pretty big day. But I found one more interesting pairing for you.

It certainly looks like we’ll be able to have another more creative Deck in next round’s Feature Match, so stay tuned and check back regularly to not miss anything from our Live Coverage of YCS Turin!
