Welcome to Day 2 of the 2015 WCQ: European Championship
Good morning and welcome back to Dublin for the second day of main event action at the 2015 WCQ: European Championship. Yesterday we saw 787 Duelists compete with a wide variety of Decks and now only around 150 or so remain. By the end of the day that total will be reduced to 1 and we will have a new European Champion.
Heading into this event all of the talk was about Nekroz and how people could possibly take it down, and yesterday we saw some answers to that question. Burning Abyss, Qliphort and other Decks have been doing very well so far but right at the top of the standings was Matthew Mills with his HERO Deck. He is the only Duelist heading into Day 2 with a perfect record and he will be hoping to keep that up for at least a few more hours in order to get into the Top 4.
The 2015 WCQ: European Dragon Duel Championship is also reaching its final stages today, with the Top 8 players from yesterday returning to compete for 1 of 2 seats at this year’s World Championship. These competitors have shown just as much skill and determination as their senior counterparts with the Dragon Duel meta also containing several Nekroz, Burning Abyss and Qliphort Decks.
As always, we will be bringing you the latest updates and live coverage throughout the day, be sure to follow the links below and join us as we find a new Champion!Back to all news
