Welcome to Day 2 of YCS London

Good morning everyone and welcome back to London for the second day of [ycs] action. Yesterday over 1100 Duelists competed across 8 Rounds and the field has been whittled down to a mere 256. We will have 3 more Rounds today followed by a Top 32 playoff.

Many well-known players are still in contention but for some of them, their chances of overall victory are hanging by a thread. YCS Madrid winner Joshua Schmidt, 2-time YCS winner Alpay Engin and even 3 time champion Peter Gross are all “on the bubble” right now, where 1 more loss would strike them out of the competition.

Meanwhile at the top we have quite a few recognisable faces as well, and unless they lose every match today we will certainly see them in the playoffs. The Quinsee brothers, Jake and Luke, are both in the Top 10 and remain undefeated. They may even end uo playing against one another before the day is out. Last year’s winner Patrik Rieder is also up there along with Italian Duelist Paolo Pacchiana, who you may have seen on our {stream} yesterday.

We are almost ready to resume so head on over to the {stream} page now to watch our first Feature Match. Best of luck to our remaining competitors, as it’s time to Duel once again!
