There are 2 World Championship main events taking place this weekend here in The Netherlands. 26 of the finest Duelists from all over the world have brought their “A game” and will be doing everything they can to succeed Panama’s Galileo de Obaldia as this year’s Card Game World Champion. The 2010 champ is also back to try and do what no other Duelist has ever done before: retain his title. Not only that but 12 of the world’s top videogame Duelists are here to decide who among them will walk out of here as the 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh! Videogame World Champion. The swiss rounds of both events will take place today before we return tomorrow to see who our 2 champions will be.

But that’s not all! The World Championship weekend is not just about the main event as we have a wide variety of Public Events taking place as well. There’s opportunities to win this year’s World Championship promotional pack and playmat (featuring [39]), Dragon Duels and the first Regional Qualifiers for the 2012 WCQs! We’ve also got other cool stuff here such as the chance to sample the latest Yu-Gi-Oh! games for various gaming consoles, a theatre showing Yu-Gi-Oh! 3D – Bonds Beyond Time and the Token maker which literally puts you “in the game”! And the best thing about all these events? They’re all completely free!

This weekend the destinies of 38 Duelists will be written and 2 among them will join the all-time greats. History will be made this weekend, it’s time to Duel!
