Hello everyone and welcome to London for the latest event in the [ycs]! This time last year, over 1400 Duelists from all over Europe travelled to the UK to compete in the largest European YCS to date. After 2 days of top-level Dueling it was Austria’s Patrik Rieder who emerged victorious.

Now we have returned to do it all again! Registration is just about to close here and the tournament hall is full of players ready to Duel. A quick look around the tables shows that many well-known local and international Duelists have showed up to compete. Patrik Rieder is here aiming to defend his London title, Eugen Heidt has shown up in the hopes of adding a YCS win to the European Championship he won a few months ago, Alpay Engin is back aiming to Top 8 yet another high level tournament, and Joshua Schmidt, fresh off his victory at YCS Madrid, is back to show everybody how it’s done. From the UK I have spotted National Champion Ben Sherman, Jake & Luke Quinsee, countless London Duelists and several of the top players from around the country.

YCS London is an event like no other, as it is combined with the MCM Comic Con, one of the largest pop culture shows in Europe. Competitors can move freely between the YCS hall and the rest of ExCeL London to see what all of their favourite videogame, film, anime and merchandise brands have brought to the show. It is an incredible atmosphere and you’ll never know what you can come across at any time, with great sights everywhere.

As with our recent events, we will be providing you with a complete live broadcast over the next 2 days. Head on over to the {stream} page to watch selected Feature Matches, with commentary and analysis by Oliver Gehrmann and Matthew Bell. Our written coverage blog (which you’re reading right now) will also be updated throughout the weekend, as myself and Rudolf Weissinger will be here to bring you the latest standings, Deck Profiles and interviews. We will also be revealing some highly desirable items to look forward to at future events, you don’t want to miss out on seeing those!

So ocne again, let me welcome you to the UK, welcome you to YCS London and declare that IT’S TIME TO DUEL!
