Dinh Khang Pham

Name: Dinh Khang Pham
Age: 24
Country: Germany
How do you feel right now? I’m feeling good, I’m happy with how my Deck runs.
What Deck are you playing today? Orcust going 2nd.
Any awesome tech cards you want to let the world know about? The whole Deck is my tech. I run a going 2nd version and it paid off! I caught most of my opponents off guard. But my build is still versatile enough to go first as well.
Final Words? Shoutouts to Junks Playground and my girlfriend at home.

Joshua Schmidt

Name: Joshua Schmidt
Age: 24
Country: Germany
How do you feel right now? Pretty good, I had an early loss in Day 1 and lost a lot of die rolls. But in the end, I have another YCS Top 8 under my belt.
What Deck are you playing today? Orcust, it runs a lot of hand traps and Instant Fusion. The Deck is versatile enough to go either first or second.
Any awesome tech cards you want to let the world know about? I run Called by the Grave which was pretty good. I:P Masquerena and Zeroboros to banish the whole field was pretty strong. D.D. Crow put in some work as well.
Final Words? Shoutouts to my girlfriend, we are spending our holidays in London, to my team E-Man games and my family.

Lucas Lancelot

Name: Lucas Lancelot
Age: 23
Country: France
How do you feel right now? Good, it is my 1st YCS top after 11 years of trying. I always bubbled out in the past. To be honest, I kind of did not believe to make it after all those years.
What Deck are you playing today? Orcust Pure – I was running Sky Striker for a long time and got sick of it. Green was not good for me anymore. I wanted to play a Deck that runs a lot of monsters. Salamangreat didn’t feel right for me. So I decided to go with Orcust.
Any awesome tech cards you want to let the world know about? I:B Masquerena was pretty good. The card opens up a stronger turn 1 set up.
Final Words? Shoutouts to my team Bendo Card Players and all of my friends in France. Thanks to all the guys who stood by me all the time.

Emidio Granito

Name: Emidio Granito
Age: 22
Country: Italy
How do you feel right now? Good, I didn’t expect to make it to top 8. I’m mainly playing for fun the whole season long. I don’t feel any pressure anymore and play better than ever.
What Deck are you playing today? Orcust Danger! I run a 46 card Main Deck. I swear this story is 100% true: every year when we go to London we go to St. James park. There were geese and we asked them question about Yu-Gi-Oh!. They told me to play 46 cards in the Main Deck and I do!
Any awesome tech cards you want to let the world know about? Nothing in particular. The whole Deck was great.
Final Words? Shoutouts to all my friends for supporting me and travelling with me to all the events. You are the main reason why I play Yu-Gi-Oh!.

Tom Kleinegräber

Name: Tom Kleinegräber
Age: 20
Country: Germany
How do you feel right now? It’s my 2nd YCS top and my 1st top 8. I just had a rough Top 16 match, but I feel very confident with my Deck. I think I will win the event!
What Deck are you playing today? I decided to go with Infernoid for this event. I feel like the Deck has great matchups against all the current meta Decks. In the United States an Infernoid Deck did very well and that was my inspiration. It was a great metacall and no one knows how to play against it.
Any awesome tech cards you want to let the world know about? Monster Gate was the MVP card of my weekend. Oh, and Gamma was pretty good as well.
Final Words? Shoutouts to my Team Legacy Card Gaming, Jens, David, Jan, Björn, Adrian, Philip, Lukas and especially Florian for giving us a place to stay at.

Kalil St Ange

Name: Kalil St Ange
Age: 23
Country: Th UK
How do you feel right now? This is my first YCS top and it feels amazing!
What Deck are you playing today? Pure Orcust – I think it has a good matchup against all the current Decks. Only Lunlight Orcust causes me troubles, but my Side Deck covers it and a lot of players underestimate it.
Any awesome tech cards you want to let the world know about? Super Poly in the Main Deck. It literally carried me all the way here.
Final Words? Shoutouts to Josh Eames I played him round 1. He’s my roommate this weekend. Shoutouts to Team Shift, To Carl Walker Mike Ashworth, Bjorn, Harry Whistler, Azad and my girlfriend

Pascal Kihm

Name: Pascal Kihm
Age: 19
Country: Germany
How do you feel right now? Actually, I’m not feeling too good. I’m a little bit sick. Other than that, I am happy to have my first YCS top 8.
What Deck are you playing today? Sky Striker, the Deck has good matchups against all the current Decks and it flew a little bit under the radar due to the limitation of Widow Anchor.
Any awesome tech cards you want to let the world know about? My trap line up was pretty good. In run Lost Wind, Compulsory and There can be only one.
Final Words? Shoutouts to my team Junks Playground, Dinh-Kha Bui and my girlfriend.

David Erpen

Name: David Erpen
Age: 23
Country: Switzerland
How do you feel right now? I feel strange but good. Everyone who was watching the feature match saw that I did not make the most optimal play. It feels like I did not deserve the win, but I did again! It’s my second consecutive top 8 this year.
What Deck are you playing today? Pure Orcust – it is the most consistent Deck with the best engine in the current field.
Any awesome tech cards you want to let the world know about? I run Sanctum in the main, it was pretty good.
Final Words? Shoutouts to Team Gym, Marcel Hansch, Florian Gönner, Peter Müllner, Andreas Koller and Kevin Züger. This time we build the Deck together!
