Yu-Gi-Oh! Video Games at the European Championship
We have previously mentioned the large variety of things happened at this event for the first time – now I want to show you another. This weekend has marked the first time that all attendees have been able to use the free 3DS pod to play the brand new video game released this week: Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal World Duel Carnival!
Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal World Duel Carnival provides a new single-player experience on the 3DS where you can really interact with the characters within the game. There are individual Decks for each of the 12 playable characters and you can play against 40 unique in-game Duelists.
There are over 5700 cards in the game which include all the latest sets with Xyz Monsters fully functional! Duelists are given the opportunity to compete in the World Duel Carnival where they can talk to all of their favourite characters from the Zexal TV animé.
Six Nintendo 3DS consoles have been set up for people of all ages to share in the experience of this new release over the course of the three days we have been here in the Netherlands. They’ve been in use constantly all through the weekend and the response has been overwhelmingly positive with many heading to the stand to buy a copy of the game after trying it out!

For those of you who haven’t heard, we have also recently gone live with a brand new service that allows you to play the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG online – Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Arena!
Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Arena! is the official Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG simulator that allows you to test your Deck and different ideas against the AI. It’s a great way to get your friends and relatives in to the game as it comes with a complete interactive tutorial to teach newer players how to play and some key moves!Back to all news
